Backstory

Nixie was born into the ruling angelic dragon family. Her birth was seen as an ill omen due to her tiny demon-like wings on her back. Many people in the royal palace questioned if Nixie was an illegitimate daughter to the Emperor. The Emperor refused these claims and declared such chatter as treason.

 

Growing up, she often tried to hide her small demon wings behind corsets, fabrics and even tailored clothes. Despite everything, people always uncovered the truth and shunned her as her pure angelic heritage was tarnished.

 

The Empress decided that it was best for the young girl to focus on something else. He ordered the Royal wizard to teach her magic. Though at first Nixie struggled to make any substantial progress. After hard work, perseverance she became an adept mage.

 

However there were times where the young mage needed a break from her studies. She often snuck out of the palace to spend time watching the allied ninja clan training routine. It was then she met a charming young girl who was training to be her bodyguard.

 

As the years passed on, Nixie was arranged to marry a prince in a far off kingdom. Tensions were high between the two kingdoms. The Emperor thought that it was wize to send Nixie as a bride to secure peace. Nixie was not pleased with this decision, but complied out of duty. To enter into a loveless political marriage with someone she has never met before. Her only form of comfort in these times was that she was able to take Azumi as she had been given the order to protect Nixie with their life.

 

However things don’t always go according to plan. On their trip to the other nation they were attacked by assassins, the ruling angleic clan was overthrown in a coup. Azumi managed to lead her lady safely. The two went into hiding, biding time for them to retake the throne.

Personality

Nixie at first is cold towards new people, she is unsure whether or not they would accept her as a person, praise her as an angelic being or curse her for her mixed heritage. She often struggles to mention her true feelings, often playing things off as a playful joke. However deep down, she is a loyal person who would fight tooth and nail to ensure her friends safety.
